We did a transportation study of the Alaskan Panhandle cities pre-geocaching. We covered nearly every street--there are not that many--mostly on foot. A major concern was the cruise ships. Several of them may dock at once and overwhelm the streets...

i drove that far for 2 ftf at midnight a little while ago.kinda spooky in the woods at that time of night(could have had a third),have since recieved a very kind offer of a geo-security detail if i ever feel the urge to do that again;)

New process for managing spammers to SWAG

A few weeks ago we had some undesirable people posing as geocachers create profiles on SWAG and subsequently spam our user base. As soon as I noticed, I blocked the users from ever again joining our ranks, but the damage was done. I didn't want a single incident to happen, but was unable to avoid it.
